The head of Russia's space agency said that the pair have been provisionally scheduled to fly back to the International Space Station in spring of next year. Russian space agency Roscosmos has suspended all launches after the major malfunction as it investigates the cause of the problem. Thursday's accident was the first serious launch problem experienced by a manned Soyuz space mission since 1983, when a crew narrowly escaped before a launch pad explosion.
